Treat your emotions with essential oils

While essential oils treat ailments in the body, they also ease the mind and regulate emotional peaks. Each emotion has a specific remedy and Puressentiel is here to discuss it all with you.

TO OVERCOME FEAR

Fear undermines our immune system and can cause cardiovascular damage, gastrointestinal problems such as ulcers and irritable bowel syndrome, and decreased fertility. It can lead to accelerated ageing, memory problems and even premature death. Romans Chamomile soothes anxieties and nervous shocks of your body.

Puressentiel Tips: 2 drops of Roman chamomile essential oil + 5 drops of sweet almond vegetable oil, gently massaged on the solar plexus.

You can also breathe the vial directly, as often as needed.

TO ATTENUATE ANGER

Anger is definitely not the solution. It causes headaches, abdominal pain, insomnia, increased anxiety, skin problems and heart rate instabilities. Marjoram is the "queen of calmness" as it soothes and rebalances your mental health and reduces mood disorders.

Puressentiel Tips: 5 drops of essential oil of marjoram with shells + 15 drops of sweet almond vegetable oil in massages on the solar plexus and the arch of the foot in the event of "rising anger", or 2 times a day (morning and evening) during periods of rage.

TO REDUCE YOUR ANXIETY

Anxiety disorders can cause rapid heart rate, palpitations, and chest pain. You may also be at an increased risk of high blood pressure and heart disease. If you already have heart disease, anxiety disorders may raise the risk of coronary events. Sweet orange rebalances the nervous system. It relieves anxiety, restlessness and palpitations.

Puressentiel Tips: Apply 5 drops of sweet orange with 2 sugar cubes, in 1 spoonful of honey or on a neutral tablet each morning and repeat if necessary during the day. In case of anxiety, repeat in the noon and the evening (do not repeat more than twice a day, maximum).

TO OVERCOME PSYCHIC FATIGUE

Fatigue results in tiredness or sleepiness, headache, dizziness, sore or aching muscles, muscle weakness, slowed reflexes and weak response rate. Compact Oregano is comforting, energizing and uplifting, especially when you have a "hard blow" to overcome.

Puressentiel Tips: Apply 1 drop of compact oregano essential oil on a cube of sugar, a neutral tablet or in 1 tablespoon of honey, 3 times a day for a week.

TO FEEL CONFIDENT BEFORE AN EXAMINATION/INTERVIEW

Lack of self-confidence leads to difficulties with decision-making. Because such people constantly create scenarios in their own minds, they may find it difficult to make decisions even about the simplest issues. Being indecisive can also lead to failures in one's career. The Noble Laurel (Bay Laurel) provides psychological support, develops courage and mental strength in the face of trials.

Puressentiel Tips: 1 drop of noble laurel essential oil on a cube of sugar or a neutral tablet + 3 drops in massages above the navel and the inner face of the wrists just before a stressful encounter, but not more than 2 to 3 times a day, and for a maximum of 3 consecutive days.

TO FIGHT AGAINST STRESS

Excess stress results in mental health problems, cardiovascular disease, obesity and other eating disorders and menstrual problems. The Petitgrain Bigarade has a strong tranquilizing and relaxing effect. It calms all nervous imbalances.

Puressentiel Tips: Breath in and out peacefully. At least 3 or 4 times a day, on the inside of the wrists, apply 2 drops of essential oil of petitgrain bigarade diluted in 2 drops of sweet almond vegetable oil.
